MacKenzie Gore Breaks Sacred Opening Day Record as Nationals Fall in Extras to the Fightin' Philadelphia Phillies by Noah Kravitz

Yesterday was a day to remember if your name is MacKenzie Gore, or if you are a Nationals 2025 Season Ticket Holder, but not so much if your name resides in the 2025 Washington Nationals bullpen.  Most Nationals fans would point out that the team is already in mid-season form after losing in extra innings on Opening-Day. Those fans, to an extent, aren’t wrong. Although, it would be a shame to say that the season is already over within one game.  LHP MacKenzie Gore dominated the Phillies on opening day. There are also most who didn’t believe Gore would make it past 4 or even 5 innings. The North Carolina native was absolutely dominant on the mound, feeling the energy around him. Striking out a total of 13 batters allowing no runs and just one hit. Gore also made history, breaking former Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer’s record of strikeouts on Opening Day. Max struck out 12 on the 2019 Opening Day against the Mets, while Gore was ab...

The MASN War is Over by Patrick Moran

The Orioles and Nationals have settled over MASN rights.      As you may know, The Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals share a network to show their games on. MASN, The Mid Atlantic Sports Network, has been a joint effort since the Nationals arrived in our nation's capital in 2005, looking to relocate as the Montreal Expos. However, all of that comes to an end. 2025 will be the last season the Nationals stick with MASN as their primary carrier and are free to explore different options for 2026 and beyond. So, sadly, you will only be able to watch Orioles games after this year on MASN and not have the luxury of switching between the two teams or watching one squad play when the other has a day off. Regardless, it was best for both sides to go their own way and stop arguing over the issue for so long. I'll dive into the details starting now.     When the Nationals first got started in 2005, they latched on to what was the Orioles' network at the time. ...

OL Joe Thuney Trade to the Chicago Bears by Noah Kravitz

Bears GM Ryan Poles addresses team’s most pressing need, beefing up Chicago’s Offensive Line: trading for 2x All Pro Thuney from Chiefs Veteran guard Joe Thuney is now on the Chicago Bear.  The Chicago Bears finalized a trade to acquire former Super Bowl Champion guard from the Chiefs: Joe Thuney, in exchange for just a fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.  Thuney, 32, originally from Centerville, Ohio, began his career with the New England Patriots getting drafted in the year 2016. Was later selected to the 2016 NFL All-Rookie Team, impressing immediately as a starter under the GOAT Tom Brady.  Down the road he finds himself on the Kansas City Chiefs team who strived to win Super Bowls year in, and year out. A perfect situation for the guard who signed a 5-year contract, worth up to $80 million. But like most perfect situations, they have to come to an end at some point.  While the Chiefs appreciated the hard work, effort, and dedication perform...
